This new blog is created because I can't access my old one - so for the time being :
Heartfelt "thoughts" and prayers to the "many" who persevered on my behalf , who shouldered "loads" that are not visible to the eye.
Dark nights of turmoil , anguish, not anguish over salvation for that is assured but the toil of "battle", spiritual forces that would drag one down - the "times" when thoughts assail the mind , whispering negative venom " Is this what its all about - serving Christ alone, tired, misunderstood and deserted by "friends" - lukewarm christians smiling and laughing and life is good -- ah, maybe like Paul when he said "Even Demas has forsaken me for this world"
Be if far from me to think that I am something when my failures are all too apparent -
but THIS TRUTH stands out:
The ENDLESS SUPPLY of GRACE , the ENDLESS " I WILL NEVER LEAVE thee -- these "promises" are there because the "battle" is always there -- the "need" is always there and we are to DRINK from the ENDLESS SUPPLY of THE WELL --- yes, easier "said" than done --- and when we don't , whether it be thru disobedience or weakeness , we fall into the quaqmires of Pilgrim's Progress, the Sinai Wilderness, the Whales of Jonah
2nd Cor. 12:9 MY STRENGTH is made perfect (complete) thru your weakness -- HIS STRENGTH is applied whatever the need because the "hand of flesh" is unable to deliver -- here it does NOT SAY that we are "delivered" or that we conquered but that HIS WILL becomes sufficient for us ---------- in Hebrews the great faith chapter tells of the great ones accepting crushing trials rather than the easier lifestyle of being lukewarm ---
Yes, we have an ENDLESS SUPPLY ---------
To the "others" around Terry's well I offer my apology for "not being there" -----
