REST

The wet, raw and cold English wind beat hard against the candle lit window of George Mueller, who kneels beside his bed, having nothing "in store" for tomorrows food for over 1,000 orphans .

Alone, eyes fixed on THE INVISIBLE ONE , old worn fingers turning pages of Holy Writ, clinging to the "PROMISES" --

Breath leaves his body as he rises , assured,- at peace, - for inspite of wind, cold and darkness , he "grasped" the hem of HIS GARMENT and thru that candlelit window seen the GUARANTEE of the PROMISORY NOTES from Genesis to Revelation

GOD cannot and has not failed --------- Rest brothers and sisters --

  4. Thankyou Felisol -- it's appreciated and am glad your Terry's friend -- and mine
Season is starting to change here -- cooler more fall like skies --
"We" walk in the footsteps of the "ones" before us, but GOD changes NOT -- HE helped ole George Mueller off his knees and whispered to the great Paul of his mission to Rome and I want again to be in "that" place where I can hear --

  5. Such precious thoughts, dear Passing Thru. Only two posts so far, but what nuggets of joy and faith and truth I see. What peace I feel to hear your heart beat.

I never had a chance to see your other blog, but I look forward to visiting this new one often.
