ps. is anyone "keeping" a journal of answered prayers -- hmm, it's difficult, -- a specific prayer request, dated and on the opposite page , the recorded answer to that request ? -- the devil don't want U to do it -- doubt dosen't want U to do it --- BUT faith will increase -- not every request is answered right away -- may take time -- but that is not our worry ---

that would be a good idea about dating answered prayer...so many times we ask and then when we receive, we dont even bother saying thank you, let alone listing the date that the prayer was answered

Hi, I'm visiting your blog today. I also read up most of what you have written, except the re-post from your old blog, Passing Thru. This is a good reminder to have a journal for answered prayer. I used to do that, but now that I have my online journal... my personal journal has less entries.

Yes Terry --- good stuff on journal but so hard to do as its a real challenge to "look" for the answers and be willing to "expose" them to view -- were they answered or were they not --- Faith building and a real "pain" to the devil
ReplyDeleteThanks Lidj -- your a busy woman and to have U visit my blog -, well , thankyou --- and yes to the journal as well - like U, my wife and I used to chronicle many blessings and answers years ago but "lost" that journal -- it was a blessing and U can call me Bob or passing thru -- lol

aunt marion opened her eyes tonight and said a few words to her daughter and so we are still praying[if it be the lord's will] that she will get better!

aunt marion opened her eyes last night and talked a little and then she fell back to sleep.
her body was shaking quite a lot but they figure that it is from the medicne that they overdosed her with at the nursing home that is causing this as it is gradually leaving her system.
we are really praying that she comes through this.
today is her birthday. she is 78.
