Good nite to all the pals
Another day done ---
Working in the nursing home , "one" sees people , old people who have outlived many of their family - once they had houses , farms , things -- hopes and trials --- many with Alzheimer's disease
Now , with just a "few" years having gone by , they have just themselves - all else is gone -
The Ageless Christ put within His children , His seed -- Life Eternal ---
What Hope --------
Keep me focused Lord on "things" eternal ---------

ReplyDeleteyes, those nursing homes are so sad sometimes.
i never saw it cleaer one day when i have heard people say that there is no problem of being in hell because all of thier friends would be there.
well one day when i was visiting in a nursing home, it almost broke my heart. the dear ones, most of them tied int chairs were crying and groaning and saying, "please help me!"
there was just no way of helping them passing-thru.
they had lots of company to be sure and yet they never even noticed anyone because the only person they cared for was theirself and crying for the comfort that would never come...
so so sad.
