WHAT A GOD !

A Kaliedascope ------ A Kabob ------- Smorgasborg of

Rich truths wrapped in Love as I ran thru pages of Holy Writ -- ending with the encouraging words of --------

"Buy" of ME

Gold tried in the fire - that I may be rich

White raiment --- that I may be clothed

Eye salve ------- that I may see

May the Great God Bless each and every one of U precious souls --- a new day, a new journey as we all go our ways this day -------
Blessings from your friend Bob
-----------------------------------------------
this is an appendix or an appendage or maybe even a pancreas to the above post of this morning
-------------------------------------------
-- when I wrote this post this morning, I then left for work and stopped at MacDonalds for biscuit and coffee -- upon driving in , found the traffic to be out the lane and into the road -- now the pickup truck in front of me had room to move up but he was "daydreaming" , plus he was "in on an angle" so that one could not even pull into the spaces reserved for parking --

So in an "instant" -- lol --- a micro second , my head turned and revolved around on my shoulders several times and my eyeballs screwed out of their sockets and my blood pressure reached heretobefore numbers never seen !

Lol -- so much for GRACE --- and my thought was where did grace go --- ooooooooo , a few seconds later , I said, I am sorry Lord -- ah , still a work in progress
When at work, I knelt down in the bathroom and thanked HIM for HIS GRACE and HE renewed within me a quiet spirit and within an hour had witnessed to a fellow worker - a 50 year old woman of God's Grace and my failure at times -- she was appreciative of hearing an "honest" testimony of grace and sometimes the lack of ----

So , this evening is here and I WISH ALL of U , HIS BLESSINGS -- Bob

  1. Yes! His Word is Awesome. This morning I told the Lord He's the only One who deserves to be called AWESOME - nothing else compares. "Rich truths wrapped in Love"...how that phrase touches me...so true. Have a restful & blessed weekend, dear friend.

  2. Thanks Vickie --- yes on "rich truths wrapped in Love" -----
My wife and I went with our grand daughter on her "move in day" up to Purdue University , on one wall was a "saying" from Amy Carmichael --
"U can give without loving -- but U can't love without giving"
GOD SO LOVED US --- neat stuff eh Vickie --

  3. dear passing-thru...when i read this this morning, it sent my spirits soaring and then i had to leave the computer and couldn't even tell you!
it reminded me of the father who not only welcomed his son home but gave him his best robe, a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet and the fatted calf and a party!
and then i felt so thankful.
and i thought of this sunday school song we used to sing,

"i met jesus at the crossroads,
    where the two ways meet,
    satan, too was standing there,
and he said "come this way
    lots and lots of pleasures,
    I will give you today."
    but I said " NO!!
    there's jesus here,
just see what he offers me....
    down here my sins forgiven,
up there a home in heaven
praise god, that's the way for me!!"

you know passing-thru...the devil sure didn't like this post and that is why he followed you to macdonalds!
ha! he finally lost the battle though when you got down on your knees and asked for forgiveness.
that old devil was so mad, he didn't even stick around to stumble you from talking to that lady..........good going passing-thru...love terry

i just love those words, "smorgasborg of rich truths"....all you can eat!!!
