I "remember"
long before I knew any theology
I knew "answers" to prayer
for
I "found" HIM to be Alive, Real and personal to me -
So many prayers were answered and thereby "learned" that HE can be counted on -
If HE said it -- I believed it and I prayed - much , for others , for needs and "our" relationship grew -
Then
as "time" went by, I got into religion, heard many Christian's testify of their "struggle" seen less prayers answered. Then I was "exposed" to church board meetings -- lol
Ah -
"We" all can relate to what I am putting down ---
How we "long" for those early days ---
well , we can go back , by faith, - trusting ,- remembering and expecting OUR FATHER to be
"ALL" that we need or ever will need ---
This can only please HIM --

ReplyDeletei remember the earlier days though when i had my doubts but god always gave me assurance.
one time when i was waiting for my school bus i was in the depths of despair and doubted if i were even saved or not!
i was in a bus hut waiting and as i scanned the walls, there hanging right in my line of sight was a round sticker that someone, probably another teenager had stuck there..that said, "PAID IN FULL"
wow! passing-thru if i had known you then i surely would of said right out loud..."neat stuff!"
my heart was singing when i got on the bus and the lord was whispering into my ear."it is finished!"
my salvation was bought and my debt of sin was paid in full!.........love terry
